EvSkor Terms of Service

1. Parties and Scope
This agreement is entered into between the person using the EvSkor application ("Platform") ("User") and EvSkor, the operator of the Platform. By using the application, you declare that you have read and accepted all terms of this agreement.
2. Review and Content Rules
2.1 The User declares that reviews shared on the Platform are based on their own genuine rental or landlord experience. Sharing false, fabricated, or unfounded reviews is prohibited.
2.2 The User agrees not to share:
- Insulting, offensive, or degrading language
- Defamatory or unfounded accusations against real individuals
- Personal information (national ID, phone number, address, etc.)
- Commercial advertisements or promotional content
- Another person's experience presented as one's own
2.3 The User acknowledges that full legal and criminal responsibility for any content they share rests entirely with them. EvSkor cannot be held responsible for user-generated content.
2.4 EvSkor may request reasonable additional evidence that a review reflects a genuine experience, within a reasonable time and scope. Such requests may arise in the context of suspicion, complaints, disputes, or proceedings by competent authorities and may be linked to verification status and technical records relating to documents submitted in verification (for example a hash of the rental agreement). If the User fails to respond within a reasonable time or the evidence is insufficient, EvSkor may remove, hide, or refuse to publish the content.
2.5 For text, images, and other user content uploaded or published on the Platform, the User grants EvSkor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable (sublicensable) licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (including translation, summarisation, moderation, and technical format conversion), distribute, publicly display, and communicate the content to the public, and to sublicense these rights to hosting, security, or analytics providers as needed to operate the Platform. This licence ends when the content is removed from the Platform or the account ends, subject to legal retention obligations, reasonable periods for dispute and audit records, and technical backup needs. The User represents that they own the content or have the right to grant this licence and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
2.6 It is prohibited to produce systematic fake, misleading, or coordinated reviews or ratings on behalf of competitors, real-estate businesses, or third parties; to manipulate scores or rankings; or to abuse the Platform in a way that distorts fair competition.
3. Moderation and Content Management
3.1 EvSkor reserves the right to review all submitted reviews using an AI-powered moderation system.
3.2 EvSkor reserves the right to remove or hide content containing insults, defamation, false information, or content that violates this agreement without prior notice.
3.3 Removed content is not permanently deleted; it is retained in compliance with legal obligations.
4. Privacy and Identity Masking
4.1 The User's real name is never displayed to other users. Reviews are published under a masked name in the format N*** S***.
4.2 User personal data is stored on servers within Turkey and processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
4.3 The User has the right to access, correct, and request deletion of their personal data under Article 11 of KVKK.
5. IP Logging and Legal Compliance
5.1 As required by Law No. 5651, every action taken by the User on the Platform (reviews, logins, document uploads, etc.) is recorded with an IP address and timestamp.
5.2 In the event of a lawful request from authorized authorities, user information and IP records will be shared with the relevant authorities. The User accepts this in advance.
5.3 The User may not use the Platform for any purpose that violates the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
6. Account and Verification
6.1 The User declares that documents uploaded for verification purposes (rental contract, title deed, etc.) are genuine documents belonging to them. Uploading fake documents is prohibited and may result in legal liability.
6.2 Uploaded documents are deleted from the Platform after review; only the verification status and document summary (hash) are retained.
6.3 EvSkor reserves the right to suspend or permanently close an account if it determines the account is being used in violation of this agreement.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 EvSkor does not guarantee the accuracy of user reviews on the Platform. Reviews reflect the personal experiences of users.
7.2 EvSkor cannot be held liable for any legal disputes, damages, or claims arising from content shared by users.
7.3 EvSkor is not responsible for the Platform being temporarily inaccessible due to technical issues. Service interruptions may also occur due to maintenance, infrastructure or software failures, security incidents, backup errors, force majeure, or similar causes, including the risk of data loss or partial or total loss of content or account data; to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EvSkor's liability for such matters is limited. The User is responsible for keeping copies outside the Platform of any information that is material to them.
8. Agreement Amendments
EvSkor reserves the right to update this agreement without prior notice. The updated agreement takes effect from the date it is published on the Platform. The User's continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated agreement.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Turkish law applies to any disputes arising from this agreement. Istanbul courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over dispute resolution.
10. Effectuation
By pressing the "I Accept" button, the User declares that they have read, understood, and accepted all terms of this agreement. The agreement enters into force mutually on the date of acceptance.
EvSkor — Tenant Experience Platform This agreement has been prepared in Turkish and English. In case of dispute, the Turkish text shall prevail.
